Sadly mine under reads by c 10%. MMC say it is legal, hence my GPS speedo. I know the GPS has faults but that combined with rpm & gearing is helpful Whoever at MMC said yours was legal is talking through his ar*e. Selective hearing may have interpreted the 10% as over read though.

I double checked with the dealer Richard even saying when indicating 70 the speed is 77.

Its the Morgan way! When i start off my speedo needle goes up and down like a yoyo. Above 20 miles it does settle down.

Mine's the other way around. Rock steady and pretty accurate for the first 5 to 10 miles, then gradually starts to jump around as the miles go up...

Its the Morgan way! When i start off my speedo needle goes up and down like a yoyo. Above 20 miles it does settle down. Jittery mechanical speedos: possibly indicating that the inner flexi-cable is dry or has loose strands catching on the outer. May be worth withdrawing, inspecting and lubricating before it breaks?
