One that sticks in my mind is a plate that was on a Jaguar that belonged to a fruit and veg wholesaler in the 1980's - PUT 80

Once say a black Range Rover with black tinted windows SPY better on a DB5 though unless you actually did work for Mi5 of course and then you wouldn't be a very good spook at all.

I do remember many years back the plate MI5 on an Aston V8 (1979) with a X-Pack being worked on at R.S.Williams in Cobham. It was lust at first site anyway but the plate on it just made it.
Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.

I saw PEN 15 many years ago on a Mercedes, but checking just now it doesn't seem to exist. Parked in West London in the early 70's next to WOM 8.

Interesting you are in Cambridge, i used to live in Royston Herts many years ago and can confirm the existence of PEN 15, another one in the area was PAR 15H, Both number plates were owned by Steve Parish the Motorcyclist and commentator.

My next door neighbour used to own a saw mill, his plate is L11 SAW
Hair dresser (I assume) in the next village has B10 JOB!
Another local whit has PI55 OFF
