Forgot to mention we called in at Dartington Hall for a walk around the gardens on the way back, the snowdrops, Crocus and short daffodils looking just wonderful right now.

Later, post ONS Covid survey this evening with swab tests etc - on one of their lists on the ipad the lady mentioned that the vaccination "drop down" menu now includes 3 or more this had only been added today.......oh yes it's here to stay alright..
She is an airline hostess in normal times so always a nice visit love

I had my AZ jab Friday teatime. On time, no fuss, in and out. On Sat I did have a sore arm, very mild headache and some aches. I have felt worse many times on a a Sunday after playing in tough rugby the day before. Only lasted the one day and back ok the next day. Having jab1 does make me relax a bit but no way will I use it as an excuse to ignore lockdown regs. Police were in the carpark near us again today having a word with people who had driven there. One fear I have is that as groups 1-4 get jabs it will be assumed that those at lower risk can do as they please......again.
Our next ONS survey test is a month away, blood and swab. Emma, the nurse doing it is brilliant. MUCH better ar getting blood out of me painlessly than swmbo ever was! She covers the whole of South Wales though! Crazy! Some colleagues of swmbo are saying that trained retired nurses are being ignored for giving jabs whilst people like StJohn’s Amb staff and others are having training!
It is highly probable that repeat Covid vaccination will be along the lines of flu vaccinations based on further data gathered post vaccination. Annual? Longer or more often? Who knows yet.

I took the Polo out today for a short out and back drive, as it has stood for too long. We went through two popular local villages, where there is a garden centre and heritage centre. Both car parks were rammed almost full. Dozens were out walking, and as these locations are not highly populated it seems that people are driving there to walk.

Seeing as I had a sore arm, the chills & a headache as side effects I reported that just now on the MHRA yellow card website as they ask you to.

Boy is that a tough website to navigate. I think most folk would give up.

Thank god for the NHS again. Our eldest son who was a premature birth and suffers very bad asthma has just had the first jab with AZ at the age of 35.

Knock Boris et al all you want but on this area they have done outstandingly.

That's great news John and a huge relief.

Yes it is Dave. Number 2 son also is asthmatic so we live in hope for him being done soon. The other 2 don't have that horrible ailment.

MrsW developed asthma later in life, partly we think having grown up in a house full of cigarette smoke and then being a hairdresser with all that lacquer in the air. This winter really affected her breathing, needing a change to her medication, and so we felt equally relieved when that first jab came along.
