This will give you an idea of where to aim for with your access hole. This rectangular hole I have since cut out is needed to change Phil's new easy change Centa rollers that you have no doubt read about. The round disc at the bottom of the picture was a factory access hole that I have filled with JB weld.

Its a good while since I attended Phils to do the Centa mod, so some details are vague , but I do remember the Centa coupling barrel being reversed so insert access is possible from the rear end , making me wonder if you can even get at the inserts from a new hole without deep changes ( i.e. doing the full mod ).
As ever I am just being cautious. A quick call to Phil will confirm.

As you have relocated the vent line then why not pick up Emil's oil tank and cam-chest vent kit, it works very well and vents the system alleviating any problem with the OEM tank.

From discussions with Emil sounds like the oil tank is the premium solution and allows for better venting. I do like the idea of a vertical tank and will look at it but Emil’s seems like an easy and thoughtful solution. After seeing a picture of a blown off end cap, hard to not want to swap out the oil tank.

I believe the only oil tanks that have suffered failures have been the early type with the dipstick filler cap rather than the internal level plates, fitted from 2013 on. This suggests the problem was with their manufacture rather than the installation, although I doubt that Morgan will admit to that. Emil's oil tank is beautifully engineered and an elegant solution to a problem that isn't there if the standard system is correctly maintained (make sure the vent line isn't plugged up) and you allow the oil to get hot enough to vaporise any water in the system. It does look great though, shame it's all hidden away.

And just to add that the preventative maintenance is extremely quick and easy to perform, if you don't want to re-route the Factory vent tubing. I simply pulled off the bottom hose at the engine and pushed it into an empty 2-litre water bottle (a small amount of oil came out of the engine as it had not been started for a while and some was clearly in the sump), then pull off the tank end and use a blow-up lilo adapter on a pushbike tyre pump to blow the clag out and into the empty bottle. Mine cleared after the first couple of pumps, but it did take a bit of pressure to do it. Nasty clag fired into the bottle with quite some spirit, but now it's nice and clear. I've not done this before and I doubt these were cleared out when the chassis was changed last summer at the Factory, so i presume this build-up has taken a while to accumulate. I will repeat this simple 10 minute exercise each year I suspect.

The bottom line on the engine drain the tank.

And if you are just blowing air up a hose that is connected to the tank you will be blowing crap up into the clean oil. I would disconnect the line at both ends and then clean it.

It is a 6 liter tank so what good is a two liter bottle?

As I read it he is disconnecting both ends of the breather hose and then using an air pump to blow the gunk out of the breather pipe into the bottle.
