Hi Guys

I have a question concerning a new plus four with manual gearbox. I have some small things but I don't know if they are normal or that they need to be looked at:

1. If I put the car in neutral and apply a little bit of throttle to 1500rpm all sounds well. If I put the car in a gear ( first or reverse), hold the clutch down and apply a little throttle you hear a slight rumble/rattle on the passenger side. Also if you pull away and the revs rise to around 1500rpm you hear the rumble/rattle. Could somebody check if they have the same?

2. If I drive over small bumps the driver side door catch squeaks. I have applied some silicone grease on the small rubber block and it is a little better but still not gone. Anybody has an idea where I have to apply some grease?

Many thanks

2) The squeak may be the side-screen rubbing on the B panel where it overlaps. Trap a piece of microfiber between the two to test it.

The sound from the doors has been solved with greasing the lock and some silicone spray on the door rubbers. I'm investigating further if I can get the strange rumble when I apply some throttle.

Not yet a normal car : after 481 km of city and county road the computer of my PlusSix show me a consumption of 4,4 l/100 km = 53,45 miles per gallon confused2
So, no not yet a normal car innocent

I might be wrong but it looks like on the Plus Four the miles per gallon figure isn’t a cumulative or journey figure but rather a snapshot at the time you look at it, which is a bit of a shame ie it is only based on how much you’re pressing the throttle at that time...I don’t know if it is the same on the Plus Six....I haven’t worked out yet if I can change it so it reflects the period for a whole journey or the average as such.
