I see absolutely no point in a separate forum for owners of the vintage Morgan Three Wheeler .The MTWC is the place to get info and spares and as Chris says there are people on here with years of experience in ownership of vintage Mogs. If the questions are not asked then the answer cannot be forthcoming. My wife Maria ran MTWC Membership for a number of years, she retired from that and we are now Morgan Three Wheeler Touring Group Founders. We have five Morgans and do thousands of miles driving ( not trailering) our Mogs everywhere.
Much as many people don't like Social Media sites, our PRIVATE site has attracted massive interest in only the five months since we set it up. People say they worry about Social Media yet the Yahoo site whilst having some good knowledgeable enthusiasts on also had people on there who had no idea what they were talking about. I used to call it "The Old Ladies Chat Show"
If you are specific about what you need to know just ask. If you are one of those who struggles with the controls ( and there are many) I suggest you attend the MTWC Training Day this year at Curborough Sprint Course. I used to run this event and have taught many the secrets of using a hand throttle and more importantly how to double declutch. I find that the biggest hurdle people have, yet it is easy once shown how.
Ian Parkinson ( now even older) but still setting the pace !

Hi Ian That's a good reply. I don't particularly like facebook and that kind of stuff, and I've been on the google site and had some good replies all round. Your idea of Curborough is good, thanks for that. I used to double de-clutch on trucks yonks ago, so will have a good go at it anyway. I've just re-joined the MTWC, and seriously looking forward to getting into Morganeering....rather than just my usual "pastiche" Morgans at www.aerocyclecars.comArthur

Me too ! I'd really welcome more input from owners of 'early Mogs.(not all, strictly speaking 'vintage', so I hesitate to use that word). I sadly let my '38 Matchless SS go due to a back problem, but whilst enjoying my 2014 'Brooklands', I still use my '35 F2, and have picked up a few tips on TM. So welcome Arthur, and others. Let's make our presence known! 1949 F Super here  (oh, and a 3.7 Roadster for long distance stuff)

I think it would be great to see more input on this forum from owners of older Morgan 3 Wheelers than we do. They seem to view it as just for the newer M3W, it needn't be that way if they use it. I like the Facebook forums for chat but this format I find is much better if you are looking for an answer to a problem, particularly if you use Google search. It would be good to see some of the rebuilds and engineering that goes into running these older cars, we will be there with them one day, maybe sooner than we think looking at the S&S situation.
