I am a new M3W owner of a second hand 2017. I just noticed two holes that have plugs in the hole located in the lower front below the mirrors on both sides. Is there some accessory that mounts in these holes or did the prior owned drill these holes that now have a plugs in them ? ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2021/03/02/IMG_2528_LI.jpg) Tim

Looks like you have the add-on external latches that secure the bonnet up front. The standard Dzus fasteners secure into female receptacles in the holes you are referencing.

That is where the original Dzus fasteners secure, as above it sounds like your car has been upgraded to the later Vintage catches which usually leaves a few holes to plug.
Depending on how the catches are fitted you might have a plug or two by the catches on your bonnet as well.

thanks was looking forward to buying another option to fill the holes with something I just could not live without. But after what happened today installing the $&$ stealth air filter I should leave it as is. I will be posting so photos of what I broke this afternoon.

We await the accompanying story.
