Help from Dubai again, mechanically i can figure most things out, white mans magic is a black art to me, here is the problem. My indicators, to be precise front right, has stopped working, the other 2 right hand indicators, right wing and right rear are working but blinking faster than normal, all left side indicators working normally. The bulb is fine, no visible damage to wiring, all relays and fuses healthy.
for you electrical officianados out there, please educate me.

thanks

I would suspect a defective earth connection for the failed indicator Steve. The other two flashing fast is a built in indication that there is a failure on that side. Good luck with finding the duff connection smile

I wasn't aware that electrics were the preserve of white skinned males..? Shame, as I have a great contact with someone who doesn't fit your 1970's attitude.

Still, good luck.

I expect it isn't a damp issue in Dubai. To get at the earth remove the UK drivers side front wheel. Remove the nut where all the wires go to & clean it.
Can you rig up a bulb & connect one end to the power to the indicator and the other to ground? That will show if the earth is the problem.

Try the bulb. A failed bulb causes the others in the system to go faster. Is there water inside the lens? That causes corrosion and shorting.
If ok check the earth. Also, MMC use bullet connectors and the ones under the front wing are VERY exposed to road spray and can corrode. I have had similar symptoms to you twice.
Rear indicator poor earth, found by doing a wiggle test of wires under the rear arch where they go through to the lamp. The riveted connection inside the lamp had worked loose.
Front bullet connectors replaced by spades with shrink wrap to seal. Water inside as well, used the “drill a drain hole “ solution!

Have a look at the power wire to the center. Of the back of the bulb, mine pulled out of the fiber ring and wasn't touching the bulb.

Have you checked bulb is working elsewhere when you say it's fine?

Nicely put. I must admit the thread title was a bit of a shock. Let's be honest, a missing apostrophe is a serious matter.
