HELLO AGAIN Now I have a puzzle here is a photo of a screen system that will replace the windscreen , presumably on pre- heated screen cars It came from "old Morgan addict"- a french forum I have just found http://nsm03.casimages.com/img/2010/03/19/100319032952510445659012.jpgSorry I can't paste the actual picture but if you could copy and paste this link-> shows the actual picture AAAArgh before I revert to schoolboy French , does anyone know of this screen bracket for aeroscreens , or is it a one -off- I love it and would like to replace my screen in the summer with one like it Does anyone know this - it looks a lot simpler than the MorganPark.de similar themed screen bracket , sadly retailing at 3,000 Euros! We live in very rainy Cumbria so any thoughts of summer sun are most welcome best to everyone Tim

That is a nice looking system and I’ve not seen it before.

That looks like it was meant for a Lotus Super Seven, not for a Morgan.

Yes I agree Jens, that is the aeroscreen set up for a Lotus or Caterham 7.

Thanks
your expertise much appreciated
Yes , indeed the brackets look very Caterham after all
Does anyone know of a less expensive aeroscreen bracket system than the Morgan Park.de one and could it be that an old windscreen frame could be adapted?
perhaps someone has already done it
what it is to have expertise brilliantly available
thanks Tim

Yes Tim, someone has already done it, I think it was on here or, possibly, Facebook .

Hello Tim, I have made a similar bracket for the + 8 and drive our +4 with an speedster window..Changing from original to speedster takes 20 minutes. I have made an metal part with thread (the 2 outer bolts fit in) and glued it with polymer on the inside in place of the original nuts. Nr 3 on each site I can do without removing the dash. Most of the year we drive with the small windows.

I am looking for a similar system for my 2019 Roadster and started another thread about it. I did contact Morgan Park but they did not have their BASYS system to fit the new roadsters....
So if anyone knows about any other producer or system I would really appreciate it. Otherwise I will try to make such a kit here locally somehow....
