Yes he was definitely one of the great sports broadcasters and completely devoted to motorsport. Thanks for your effort and talent Murray.

Village fundraiser, at a farm a few miles from Murray's home.
The big draw was the pig racing.
Great fun in itself.
Better still when Murray provided his trademark "pants on fire" commentary.

THE voice of motorsport. One of the reasons to tune in over and above watching the event. A mix of excitement, fun, comedy, whoopsies, great partnerships with people like James Hunt.
Many spirts have a voice that adds so much to the spectacle and Murray was a top man.

Sad news, his enthusiasm was infectious and some of his quotes are legendary "with half the race gone, there is half the race still to go"
He's passed the chequered flag for the last time, but will be forever remembered, RIP Murray

He was the best - enthusiastic and knowledgeable but did not take himself too seriously. He cared deeply about motor racing and the people in it. I shall re read his autobiography as it is brilliant. He`s finally reached the chequered flag after a great race.
