Too late, I have welded it up now but will look at moving it as it looks a good idea👍
Put in a lighter Lithium Ion battery and the vibration will not put as much stress on it.
A Lithium battery is too expensive for me I'm afraid.
Used the Exde AGM12-31 listed in Planenuts alternative parts list, fitted straight in and the hold down clamps where long enough. Just needed some packing in front and behind to stop it moving and falling off the supports as its a bit shorter in length.
Really spins the engine over now!
