Sounds like a repair rather than a mod to the fuel tanks - In my opinion, rear tank mounts really do need to be cushioned/floated as they’re simply sitting on a couple of thin bits of rubber.

Sounds like a repair rather than a mod to the fuel tanks - In my opinion, rear tank mounts really do need to be cushioned/floated as they’re simply sitting on a couple of thin bits of rubber. Rubber that sits on long tubular arms that are prone to flex just by the nature of tubing. If MMC had a rear frame of sorts, whether tubular or monococ to mount the tanks into it would be a giant leap forward.

It sounds like MMC have copied your tank bracket mod Bunny. It will be interesting to see if that is the case. I expect there will be a cheque in the post

Has anyone mentioned the need for a steel sprocket as the alloy sprocket will produce lots of noise and has got the risk to wear out soon?
The Brookland edition was originally fitted with the alloy version.
I would opt for the 2017 version and most likely for the car with the higher milage as things get sorted when the car gets used.
No garage queen when it comes to M3W!

Thé factory seem recycling some of their unsold 2012 Mtw in brookland without new châssis

The Austrian The Brooklands actually has more miles but both are pretty close. Think the Brooklands is at 4,400 and the 2017 is at 4,000.
I know the Centa drive was done in the car, going to seeing it this morning as we had to reschedule. Just hoping the frame is NOT an early one, if so, the Brooklands is out.

I would go for the 2017M3W.
Some 4400 miles for the Brooklands may have been not enough to sort out all shortcomings (but this is my private opinion only)

MMC recently modified the fuel tank mountings under warranty. I'm intrigued - what exactly did MMC do to the fuel tank mountings? Likewise Here’s the link to the fuel tank support modifications.
