Spent the weekend driving around South Wales and apart from a puncture what a weekend.... but not one Morgan seen, not one, well not until I was 5 miles away from home on the A350 just south of the A303 anyway.
Where was everybody?

Spent the weekend and beginning of week up on the west coast of Scotland...on the bike not the Mog. Gave up on the weather in the end having endured constant heavy rain and worse...gale force winds which ended up with completely soaked camping gear Riding over Rannoch Moor on Monday was interesting to say the least.....like a huge hand picking you up and depositing you on the opposite side of the road...in the face of lorries at times...scary The Morgan might have been a bit interesting in those conditions...I had my bikes front wheel go very light several times!
Jays Former Morgan owner. Gone but hopefully not forgotten!

Back in the mid-80's I did a JoG to Lands End run with a reasonably large group of PTWs (Bike Aid). Had reasonable weather on the run north a couple of days before the actual run, but self and a couple of pals decided to forgo Glencoe, Rannoch Moor etc. on the way south as the forecast was for high winds. Many went for it. One girl on a Honda 750(?) was pushed off the road by the wind, broken wrist, and there were several other tales of trying to stay on the tarmac. It was bad enough going down the A9 at times! Beautiful up there on the West Coast, but can get hairy when the weather turns.
Cheers,
