BearDee, before you take everything apart have you checked the obvious things like broken drive belt, stripped drive rear pulley etc.etc. You should get an endoscope into the Centa for inspection, they're now available cheaply and work via your phone. Good luck and keep us informed...

As for the photo uploading advice, I get it, but oh my god it's " Dickensian " ( at it's best ) and one that I won't subscribe to.
Personally, I'd prefer this forum to be privately owned, and used by enthusiasts. A corporate forum would have little interest in the likes on me and my 1972 4/4, and would be heavily focussed on the current expensive models, and the latest branded gin/coat/underpants. As for the photos, that's a mantra I often hear at school "tried it, didn't work, it's rubbish, giving up" Each to their own, but as I've said before, once you understand the process you can have a photo up in about 5 or 6 mouse clicks.

Morning Bear Dee, Sorry to hear about your mishap. The pictures you sent me show clearly that your drive rollers failed. A call to Phil Bleazey is the next step. Ian ![[Linked Image]](https://tm-img.com/images/2021/03/20/162627737_1924185134413953_3980267650972237032_n.jpg)

Sorry if my original post sounded a bit dismissive BearDee, it wasn't meant to. I knew when my Centa rollers started to break up but I had been driving the car for many thousands of miles and was in tune will most of it's noises and vibrations by then, you are fairly new to M3W ownership. I can understand your despair but you have a basically good car, if it is the one I think it is. A trip to Phil Bleazey will sort any future problems with the Centa and a check over of the clutch at the same time. Not great after recently buying the car but the best option I would say.
The photo posting isn't ideal but it does work and because it isn't so easy people only tend to post the more interesting stuff? It's a free forum and a very useful one for the M3W community. Without it I don't think it would have been viable running my M3W for the last 8 years.

+1, without the information contained in the pages of this forum I would have given up and bought a more reliable 40 year old classic with free road tax and no MOT🤣

The phrase... Morgan build the cars and the owners finish them. is sometimes used. Over the years many improvements made by non MMC people have ended up adopted by Morgan. For 4 wheelers things like rear hoop/shocks to replace the lever arm system, bearings on the front hubs to lighten steering are just two. People like Librands, Mulfab, Sifab, Wolf are 4 who are prominent. There are many others including some regular TM contributors. Roger and his bump stops. DaveW has a big topic of his work. Phil Bleazely has done quite a bit of excellent work on M3W. This subsequent improvement developed by non MMC people should really have been done by MMC themselves but it can be an expensive business. The early M3W issues were a clear example. I remember the early Lotus Elans with rubber doughnut links in the driveshafts. They deteriorated . A company designed and sells new CV joint to replace it. The M3W Centa would be in the same design shortfall area but a non rubber doughnut to mechanical version is not impossible but probably expensive for limited number end use. I also think early Mini front rubber cones could be replaced with more robust sprung systems that someone developed.
