Im a lucky guy, Ive got very little to moan about at the moment. Even though I dont 'live in the past' I always look back with great fondness of the 90s and If I could, Id go back in a heartbeat ! For me, those years were were peak living for me. I was whizzing around the world a bit with the Mob, I had great mates, great social life, great laughs, the kids were born and the music was just fantastic.
So if I could pick one decade that everything was 'on song' it would be the 90s without a doubt.
What about you, and why ?

Yip, nineties for me as well, married in the late eighties but family arrived in the nineties. I was much fitter, worked longer hours because I could! Had real drive and ambition to achieve a stable and secure environment for my new family. It was the hayday for the music I was involved in BUT I didn't own a Morgan. Guess you can't have everything.
I think I'll look back fondly on most decades of my life for different reasons 🤞

I am with Dave, noughties for me as well. Self employed with a full time consultants contract working for Volvo. Same role as my U.K. job but with a global brief and of course on a consultants rate! Bought me a new +8 that did!
Close second was 1968-78 late teens to girls to motorsport, always skint but there was immense fun!

The seventies must have been good - cos I can't remember most of them.

I've loved it all and been very lucky with lots of pleasure flying and company paid travel including living overseas.
The best if I am pushed would be providing a strong nest for our three youngsters and getting them all through university with no cost to them and with the confidence that a full time Mum brings, seeing them thrive now as lovely human beings and very good friends makes it a special time too.
There have been some nice cars along the way and Morgan's for 17 years but they are just details not my life.

Noughties - made the transition from corporate treadmill to own business. Bought my first Morgan - using a bonus from Siemens. Started to get control of my time so that I could enjoy pausing for a moment occasionally.

For me every decade has had very many positive and negative aspects, non of which I would change.
Although the past cannot be changed, the future can certainly be influenced.
It is amazing how just one person can have a tremendous influence on your life in many ways. For me that happened in 2007 when I met my good lady. Assent subsequently granted to invest in a Morgan 👍
