Yesterday I noticed a small pool of coolant under the car ,checked all hoses and found nothing .
Took the car for a 20mile run and on my return found a small weep of coolant from the top hose .
Tightened the jubilee clip and added a second one .I then checked every jubilee clip every one tightened a little bit .
I didn't overtighten . Something else worth checking .

Hi does your radiator have a plastic connection for the small pipe from the coolant header tank?

Hi Steve .no plastic Its a SIFAB radiator , that is one of my best mods as I didn't trust the plastic factory one .

Very cold weather causes contraction of metal pipes which can cause minor leaks. I struggled with one on my Roadster for a couple of winters.

Me too Dave (better use +1). Though I did find regular checking of the jubilee clips also helped.
Now I have a plastic one I worry about over tightening
