heel and toe easier with organ pedal. A good dealer will need to adjust brake/accelerator pedals so that they are at similar heights when you are braking so that you can roll your foot across to blip the throttle. Would suggest this is done by a Morgan motorsport specialist. I think Techniques is nearest motorsport dealer to you? If so speak to Brian Gateson, tell you John Bevan recommended you. Otherwise try New Elms and Tim Ayres if you are near to Dorset.

Quick questions, the factory say that the organ type accelerator pedal can no longer be fitted to the 4/4, as it is now throttle by wire.
Ok but what difference should that make.
I found that with the standard throttle on the demonstrator, to get full travel on the accel with right leg my left leg was then somewhat bent when not on the clutch, which I assume would be uncomfortable on long journeys.
Bob, Seems to be true. I booked my 4/4 sport in to have the organ pedal fitted, and when I went to pick it up, they said sorry we can't fit one to this new throttle! I wanted one because I find the throttle pedal quite sensitive, and I have now learnt to rest the right hand edge of my right shoe against the side of the footwell when using the throttle, to give it some 'friction'. My left leg is bent like yours, while my right leg is straight - but I'm now used to it. A 4 hour journey on sunday in traffic, and the only ache was my wrist ! Kevin

Has the throttle pedal changed from the 2010 cars then? I've fitted an organ pedal and had no problems. Its certainly improved the comfort.

I think they must have, mines a 2011 car.
The arm that 'hangs down' (excuse the highly technical description)has a bend in it, and when I queried why the organ pedal wouldn't fit, they said it would now hit the arm when the pedal was depressed.
If you're at Brooklands on sunday, I wouldn't mind a look at yours.

It can be still made fit with a bit of work with an angle grinder!!

Yes...mine looks just like that and I had no problem fitting it. I just gently rounded off the top sharp edge of the pedal to make sure it cleared.

I was at the factory today so was able to compare my 2010 throttle pedal to the latest and they are the same. This is the current pedal  This is my pedal in my 2010 4/4 Sport.....you can see the top right edge is rounded off to prevent catching on the kinked part of the pedal.  I had to move the organ pedal to the left a little but just over half the roller on the throttle fits into the rear of pedal. It does take a fair bit of lining up i have to say!
