Yeah. Worth noting while you’ve got your head around it, where you might need to drill a hole to open the boot Could you fit an emergency pull cable while you have a access ?

Looks brilliant, the new piping is great (I have some ready to go on mine!). The piping where it goes from the running board up the wing (90 degree angle) - how is it secured in place?

As cooperman says. It’s mainly stapled on all the way with a few extra near the 90 deg bend. 2/3 of the way under the door it runs out of exposed wood so carpet tags are used

I should have guessed staples, do they do galvanised ones

So I’ve been putting all the panels back on this week and fitting it up. The hardest bit turned out to be the easiest but the front end and running boards which I thought would be a doddle gave me grief, particularly getting the new Zeus clips to fit. New headlamps turned out to be another ball ache. Had to file loads of around the edge to get them to even have a chance of fitting. Still paintwork is amazing, managed to hang the doors properly so no fouling and quarter lights sitting in and clearing A post. Bonnet is dangerously close to the wing, think it might foul there. So Saturday morning off to have new hood and interior fettling. These are my slave wheels, originals being painted atm with fat rubber going on. Happy days. ![[Linked Image]](https://tm-img.com/images/2021/03/25/EEB841F6-8A7F-402C-A019-478DC839FF07.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](https://tm-img.com/images/2021/03/25/9D09F61A-3E53-4DA5-9B7A-F818F2170BF4.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](https://tm-img.com/images/2021/03/25/5B20F1F7-23E5-49F5-B92F-58D519FB0A39.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](https://tm-img.com/images/2021/03/25/32AE41EE-05A9-470A-9775-A90BBB2E340D.jpg)

Looking good It's the first time I've noticed the boot lock twist goes through the number plate, despite gawping at many Aero's over the years

Most Aero's have a standard size plate on the rear.Like Lee, I have a similar plate on mine with the lock going through the plate..... Car is looking Ace Lee James

Thanks chaps. Well pleased.
Yes the std size plate always appears to me like it’s dropped down in the aperture.
So on the previous 2 I also did this mod, looks way better
