I see That fellow Morganeer Iain Duncan Smith is displaying another badge of honour having been sanctioned by the Chinese state for calling out their human rights violations and their elites pillaging wealth

But I fear that our opinions are of no interest to the Chinese Government.
Only if we stop buying anything "Made in China" will they notice and to be honest, that would be "cutting off our nose to spite our face".
Human rights abuse is not exclusive to China, it is endemic to all of the far east and S E Asia.

The China we see today was set in place when the world stood by whilst defenceless Tibet was over-run. Sometimes one has to make the sacrifice, of cutting off your nose to spite your face to stop their expansionists policies.

I go out of my way to avoid buying anything from china, mainly because of the piss poor quality, but also the human rights violations.

Is "chinesium" is even worse than Honda motorbike bolts? We call them "made from Japanese hard curd"?

To be honest you often get what you pay for. I am shure that a lot parts of our Juke or Kodiaq are made in China - and this cars are not so bad....

China must be laughing at us all the way to the bank, we’ve become a culture of materialism. Worse still, it not material of any use, we clamber for trivial tat. Stupidly , we reward the cheapest producer and shun the best in the deluded belief that we’re saving money when all we’re doing is wasting everything.
It all just next year’s landfill, I honestly think that the poor, downtrodden Chinese worker must look and the crap he or she is putting in the polystyrene box in amazement, chuckling to themselves “ what sort of idiot needs the electronic belly wiggler 2000?” they wonder.

Hypocritical rant over, I’m off to watch some pointless racing cars on my wide screen telly, with a flat white made with ethically certified beans, carted from halfway round the world, in my Chinese but German sounding bean to cup coffee machine.
