Stealth kit + 1” taller filter + Air Stinger Filter + Stealth Cover Ring. Had trouble finding the ring or air stinger, can’t remember, so I just bought a Harley air stinger kit (which has both) in addition to x-wedge stealth kit and now have extra parts I can’t use:). See link below. Air StingerI currently have the traditional Stealth so I have the Stinger base. Do you think a 1” taller filter would fit on the base? I have seen clear covers somewhere else I believe.

I have seen clear covers somewhere else I believe. The 1” taller filter is a drop in replacement if you already have the stealth kit. You just need to make sure you get the threaded standoffs which extend out the holes so that the cover can be attached; accounts for the 1” additional height. Get this one and not just the filter itself.

Forgot to mention that I was running with the traditional stealth + 1” taller filter while waiting for the air stinger filter and chrome ring to come in. It works totally fine.

My traditional Stealth has a stinger in it and I have always thought that the stinger was part of the magic of the filter and wondered what a difference the 1” taller filter would do. The original MMC filter is closer in size the the 1” Taller model, and I was surprised to find that the Stealth AR filter was smaller.

I haven’t noticed any difference performance-wise between stock, stealth (stinger in it), stealth+1” taller (stinger in it), stealth +1” taller + air stinger filter. Everything else with my M3W is stock except for brooklands exhaust. Not sure if it has baffles in it from factory. I would guess no based on how loud it is? I’ll probably take a look while car is in pieces when doing Bleazey Centa.

As I mentioned, I did get one (still waiting for the 1" taller filter. Even at that I seem to feel a better pull on acceleration (maybe just a placebo effect). I may work up some brackets to use with the G56 cover I already have.... easy peasy.... two screws into four (well actually will be six!
