Congratulations Lee; she looks as good as she was described - I think you've had a stroke of luck with this S1  Hope you have many happy miles behind the wheel and I am in no doubt that the bucket, sponges, clothes and various pots of magic wash, wax and polish will be out today in the Viper house  No cleaning yet....cant get into it until its sorted mechanically and BHM cant look at it until 4th Oct

The A/C doesn't work and one of the windows doesn't go down... get out and enjoy it man! Stop being such a wet blanket  Do you remember the, "if it is too perfect, you won't drive it" conversation?

Got the bonnet louvres too!
I think you'll find the Viper mobile has double the louvres. No doubt he'll tell us that makes it faster

I know, I know.....Cant ruin a good thing, i like to preserve. The problem with the window is: driving a car with the roof down and windows up is very gay. Driving with the roof up means that the passenger door cannot open past the hood seal. (not easy plus hood up is very hot cos of heater/ac issue so there

Fair point - if 2+ weeks for BHM is too long a wait, why not speak with Brian at Techniques or SGT and see if you can get the car in sooner. The window should be a while you wait quick job. In fact, I wouldn't doubt you could do it yourself.

Always thought the S1 was the best - a true racecar for the road in the best sporting tradition, and certainly in its purest form. Fantastic looking car
