To and from Techniques for its 2021 service. Should have been in preparation for Sicily and LM Classic, both postponed trips from 2020. Now it's Southwold next week and Lincoln and Norwich in June.

Beautiful but chilly today. Went to see how the blossoms are doing. Yes I know it is too early. But I have learned that nature goes its own way. So I was looking out to monitor things.



Years ago I organized several blossom tours. For organizational reasons you have to pick the date weeks ahead.
The first time hopelessly too late.
The second time much too early.
Third time richt on; But it was raining cats and dogs. That"s nature.

On the way back I saw this.



That really gives hope in these dark days. Spring will come anyway
So when the blossoms are there. I"ll be back.

Paul, that is a great colour combination you have on your car and one I've not seen before and it looks splendid amongst the blossom there.

In 25 years I have only seen one in Holland but that was a wide body, does not give the same looks.
But that's personal taste.

At the Centenary in 2009 I saw this 3-wheeler. Maybe someone on TM.

A nice run out as it was sunny. It wasn't that warm but some fools were swimming in the North Sea.

Had a trip to Shuttleworth - Hangers were closed but nice to have a wander round the gardens. First proper run out since Christmas Eve.

Topped her up with some Premium Fuel, as I left home, but she ran like an absolute bag of nails on the way there, stuttering, popping, and cutting out. I imagine there was a ton of detritus in the tank, and the the fuel goes off so quick these days. Went home the long way and had a blast up the A1 to St Neots and then cross country via Kimbolton and she ran much better, with only a handful of stutters.

The Roadster is still not taxed and the leetle fella needed some new premium fuel & an Italian tune-up

As I took the photo it reminded me of Speedwell, who were a renowned A Series engine tuning company of the 50's & 60's even Graham Hill did a stint working for them

Out to Sutton Hoo for a shift as a volunteer, nice to be back there and great weather for driving.

Beautiful day today; along the orchards to check the status of the blossom.

And then drove on for a nice walk to the see-through church.



130 Km Wonderful day.
