Hi Alastair,
I believe the speakers are original as the Radio/CD unit is an Alpine as well.
As an update I spoke to the factory yesterday and have booked it in as I believe they may have a winder unit to hand. They are also sorting out the fuel gauge which never worked properly and they have now got a "factory fix" which works!

- just spotted this Taffy.

I had a new N/S window cable replaced a few years back.For various (boring!) reasons, I needed it fixed quickly so purchased a new cable from MMC.

Like others, I believe it is a Fiesta motor with a modified cable.

Unfortunately, MMC will only supply the complete mechanism - motor, cable,etc.; brace yourself for the cost

I have sent my old, damaged cable and motor setup to Simon (@ SiFab ) at the end of last year and he is trying to source alternatives.

I have already been warned by people on this site its like a second mortgage but it just needs to be done as the car is un-useable at the moment. To be honest getting the bloody fuel gauge is even more of an issue as its just hopeless !!

I tend to use the trip meter as a better indicator of how much fuel is actually left - but I feel your pain !

Mine surprisingly is not that bad.
You start getting worried at 1/4 with the light on, but until 0 the car still runs.
When you fill it up with lot of care and attention, it goes between 3/4 and 4/4.
Could have been much worse.

The fuel gauge on the Coupe 2013 was a mess when it arrived. The factory did make a change to it during one of the visits and it became a lot better without the wave during corners and sudden plunge effect. I do not known what it was but it made it a lot better.
