a winters day in deep and dark December (okay February)

First trip out today with MOGster our M3W - Having being stored outside under a cover since November and with the Optimate connected & showing two greens she started first turn with no sumping issues to report either.

What a glorious day for a run, Bagshot, Runnymead then Windsor Great Park & home - not too far but fabulous in the company of Skullmog given the current restrictions.

Tyre pressures were low on all 3 wheels so needed a few PSI prior to the run following the 4 months storage but then all good once we’d got some fresh fuel as well.

My first roundtrip with the M3W I got on Friday.

Staffelegg (View into Schenkenbergertal; Aargau, Switzerland).


The I passed the next hill (Bözberg) with a great view to the Swiss alps (from the closed-down Restaurant Vier Linden).
You can also detect the Habsburg (the initial castle of the famous regent family) in the hill (its over the leather strap or the V2):


There are 2 more castle to be found on this picture (the Wildegg - in the forest a little bit higher than the left corner of the bridge)
and the Falkenburg (on the right of the Holcim factory).

Very nice first trip! May I ask, are those vents in the sides of the bonnet?

Out of hibernation today and took first ride since late October, ran great. Nice to be back in the saddle. Weather is going to be great this weekend.

The sun was beating down today so opportunity taken to get out for a very therapeutic blast round the countryside.





Think I might be needing a new inner tube...just about time for new tyres anyway.
