Doug I think we have the same models but this bounce you talk about is something I have not seen. I’m very happy with the ride on mine, it’s quite compliant with little crashing, almost like driving a normal car. I didn’t discover the SSL front kit on my ‘new to me’ car until I got it home and crawled underneath. The only difference I see is that the dampers are Bilstein monotubes and my rebound springs are compressed (I don’t know to what extent). I know that is supposed to be a no no but the ride is so good compared to my old car I’m loathed to touch it for now.

Yes, I think earlier kits used Bilsteins. I am going to give it a few more miles before reaching any conclusions. If no better, maybe we could compare by meeting up sometime, somewhere on Shapwick Heath, say...now there’s a good test bed!!
