190 miles to Bury St Edmonds and back. Fitted Ring doorbell and other cameras for outlaws peace of mind....
Bloody marvellous journeys both ways with both me and Her Ladyship bellowing out songs like Bohemian Rhapsody at top of our voices. Only challenges were rear view mirror still missing (coz the bonding didn’t work on the the windscreen when I tried to fit it yesterday) plus not being able to read the speed on the electronic dash with my prescription sunglasses on at all for the whole journey. Right pain coz there’s lots of max speed areas on the A14 at present. Meant either got crick in my neck twisting to see it or briefly removing shades. Wish summat could be done....nonetheless a great drive with my best chum next to me🤓🥰

Remember mentioning not being able to see dash readout with sunglasses, on first report of Plus Four and Six. Having said that in bright sunlight I can't easily read my Roadster ones either with same drive shades

Yes, polarised sunglasses are a problem when used with many types of Liquid Crystal Display, which function by polarising the light going through them. It's a problem with many aviation displays too, which is why I would get non-polarised sunglasses.

A few of us with Trads (especially Roadsters) use these, mine's set to reflect an image onto the 'screen, very useful

That looks interesting. If it was to ask Mr Google to see one what would I be calling it please? How do they work out of curiosity? If it works then I like where John has put his.
Thanks for the idea coz I’m stuck with the polorised sunglasses as they are prescription ones which I also use for skiing.
Cheers

As they are GPS based they work differently to a speedo linked to the wheels. In general mine is very accurate & certainly more readable than the speedo which is on the passenger side & under the tonneau.
It is powered via the radio USB slot. so when the power is off it is off.

I got mine from ebay for under £16. You can also get GPS speedo apps for your phone.
