The extra weight over the rear axle raises the front of the car so the pipes are quite high enough to not cause problems at all.

Me thinks that you lot are not taking this seriously. rofl banghead

Maybe it is an in car beer cooler.
You would surely drive carefully if that was the case.
innocent wine
Or maybe it is to divert Frank's attention from the sump.

I mentioned this at the factory yesterday because I have ordered a car with aircon.
The response: "Ah yes! Sometimes we get it wrong and it takes us a little while but now all the aircon condensers will be mounted the other way up and the tubes re-routed." or at least words to that effect.
It seems speed humps and other obstacles that would challenge even a mass produced car had taken toll of some units thereby alerting the factory that it was not such a good idea to mount the system so that the tubes were even lower that the Roadster sumps. blush The only people unhappy with the fix are the spare parts department. Just kidding!

Nice to know that they admit they got in wrong. Pity they don't do the decent thing and recall the few cars that have air con and correct their poor engineering design. Am I going to put a bet on whether they do that - no chance !!!!!
