The factory took the tyres off and stuck the wheels on their balancing machine. Three of the wheels were badly balanced due to poor casting quality. When I went to the Minilite factory in Telford to talk wheels, they told me they had a contract at one time to make the original Morgan alloy wheels and they weren’t impressed with the moulds supplied. They didn’t make them for long. They also confirmed that they weren’t the best balanced. They put my new wheels on a machine to show me how well balanced they were.

After a lot of thought and turning it over and over I have decided to sell my Morgan. The advert has been listed on here.

I've met many good people and have great memories of driving the car. I will still be around and may one day return to the Morgan fold smile

I know what that's like. I stayed here after I sold my +8, just for the banter and haven't regretted it.
