4 and a half houses and you know the place!
I went there in Google earth / street view and there it was

As Covid is limiting all travel options Google street view is a great thing to surf the world from the sofa

Its a nice little town Hannes with lots of individual shops and a great Hotel/pub where Admiral Nelson used to walk to from his home in Burnhan Thorpe

If you google Earth a little further its near some beautiful beaches too.

Wish you a lot of fun in the Picos De Europa!
Did you reserve at the Parador?

This was easy for me by coincidence.
I had planned a trip to the Picos and was searching for Parador options😎

We visit Burnham Market every couple of years. One of our favourite spots is a few miles from Burnham Market - Holme-Next-The-Sea (we are due to be there in early July having not visited in 2020). Somewhere over the left shoulder of the photographer is an excellent book shop and the other side of the road is a brilliant second hand book shop.

We will be staying there, probably going in the SS100, and by chance we will be sharing the place with a group of SS100s and XKs on a Classics On The Road tour.

Hi Paul

Yes we have stayed in the area for many years except 2020. We have a dog and Holme beach is great and quieter than the more popular beaches. And yes the shops in Burnham Market are all very individual. Even the Chemist was fantastic very old fashioned but with everything you could think of stocked. Last time we visited it was sad to see that it had closed as the Husband and wife owners had both died within a few weeks of each other.
