I have carried out the standard mod on the OEM stock exhaust by removing the front and rear baffles, kept the middle as original.

Pre mod had a couple of track days where the max DB level was less than 100db and passed OK

With the mod the exhaust noise has substantially increased. I don’t have a DB level meter to measure so how have you track day chaps got on when you have carried out the same mod?

Have you passed the DB test?

I very much doubt that your "Bafflectomy" exhaust will pass a track dB test, it is pretty close in standard trim for MMC Stage 1 and modified standard exhaust systems are usually louder. You may have to fit some dB killers to the ends for the day. I am sure Austin or Rob will have more details about track mods for you.

Stand to be corrected but 95dBm springs to mind as the track limit at our local Snetterton circuit. My M3W with MMC stage 1 pipes did pass test on a residents track session but I was ultra gentle on the throttle innocent

BTW I have a free app, Sound Meter, on my Android phone that records and displays dynamic sound levels in dBm. Not sure how accurate mind.

At my last track day (Lydden Hill) the limit was 103 db and my AR Stage 1 pipes failed by 2db at 5000 RPM. I am sure the G56 exhausts would have passed.

I have a App on my phone but not to accurate when you get to the upper range.

I think the DB is over track limits so I'll need to look at a slip on slip off something I can use

Some tracks have tight-ish limits. It was either Donnington or Mallory, I think but maybe wrong, that had noise complaints from neighbouring houses after new occupants moved in! It put a question as to whether they could actually stay open.
Near here Pembrey circuit is next to an RAF bombing range so take your pick! I have yet to see jets with extra baffles and the US ones are easily the loudest. When walking the dog in the adjacent forest I sometimes go to the track fence to view course activity if it sounds interesting. Pembrey airfield is also there. Over the last couple of years RAF have been landing transports on the beach too.
As for track days there are noise reducers you can fit to the exhaust ends that might help. If your system checks too loud then perhaps contacting tracks you might use to see what they can do to help.

From what position is the DB measured? And how far from the end of the pipes?

The light at the end of the tunnel is actually a train. 2019 M3W
