Looks like lots of opportunities for scratches & the door closed over the beautiful mohair hood causing marks confused2

Well, not mine exactly, but two of the factory hire cars. Enjoyed the PlusFour Auto. But it was overshadowed by the PlusSix (which I had driven first. Wow!! grin2 First question when I got back to the factory was whether they'd take a house in part ex laugh2
But, I can understand why those too used to all the driver aids (traction / stability control &c.) get into trouble. I loved it. But it's way out of my pathetic pay grade smile

Drove mine in beautiful sunshine here in the Sunny South East of Ireland!! I now have 1500Kms on it and it is loosening out such that I put the foot down a bit and -- wow! it really goes! Its strange to not have rattles and noises like my last Plus 4 the only bit is that I need to sort out the gales of wind that come in around the rere of the sidescreens when the hood is up - much neoprene sponge, I reckon!!

With all those reports of sixes going TU, I thought the handling was going to be problematic, but there is nothing wrong with the handling. They are just driving them too fast.

As you can see I think all the tour guides arrived by Morgan (one has already left hence the space in the line up). I arrived a little late - there was no space against the fence smile

Nice double yellow shot Graham, does Wirewheel still work there I haven't seen anything on TM from him for years now.
I remember meeting him at a Haynes day and the SW MMC factory visit but that was a good few years ago now, spotting the metallic blue car in the line up prompted my comment.
I think we met his wife at Haynes but it's a bit hazy now it's such a long time ago.

Yes Rich, Ian is still with us. Paid a flying visit yesterday, but will be there next Wednesday for the second tour guides gathering.
Hire cars have restarted again this week, but take up is slow at present. Tours restart in May (17th?) assuming no further lockdowns and it looks to be rather busy right from the start.

The yellow in the background is Ferrari Giallo Fly. On the PlusSix? Haven't a clue, sorry!
