I look longingly at fast Ducatis, but know, deep down, that my reactions are just not good enough now. Still, plenty of memories and still loads of mates from my biking days. Bud 4/4 - Stanley Me too. I gave up when I had to drop my K75S because my reactions weren't fast enough driving in the S East with it's heavy traffic. I have very fond memories of biking & every visit to Krazy Horse is painful. Still I have Belle.

The 883 Sportster is the entry level to the Harley World, have a test ride on a CVO Low Rider S, it will tear your head off your shoulders

I reckon my 33yr old ZX10 will out perform the CVO (I think the CVO has about 96bhp and around 120mph? top speed - the ZX has 135+bhp and tops out at 165mph).

I've ridden most Harleys and owned 9 Harleys over the decades, whilst they have improved immensely in recent times, they are still basically a cruiser bike, with a very upright riding position in which you become a 'massive sail in the wind' (when compared with other motorcycles) it feels that its trying to rip your arms/hands off the bars and tear your head off your shoulder, even at quite modest speeds by comparison. I love them for their grunt and pulling power and ability to cross the vast distances of the US with ease, for which they were designed for..........

My last was a Road King, day one Leicester to Macon, day two Macon to Perpignan, day three Perpignan to Castellon de la Plana.
Didn’t miss a beat.

I know that one - no fairing on the ZX and have fitted bar risers, so much more of an upright position. Also have a GL1000, and a GSXR Chop which, until recently had apes and forwards

and sometimes off the bike too😜 Riding is always a compromise of sorts, very few bikes get the balance correct without the aid of a some form of fairing , either your head is being ripped off or your wrists, knees and back ache from a crouched over position It 's all good fun whilst it lasts, and a very good excuse to wear leather in public.
