I don't see the point. There will always be gasoline, it may get more expensive, but it will be there, if only for legacy vehicles. I would never do that to a Morgan, but once hydrogen is more generally available I'd certainly do a conversion to the fueling system of the big V8. I wonder what the tacho reads? It shows engine revs - of the electric motor. Really  More useful would be battery energy remaining - like a giant fuel gauge. This would allow it to act like a tacho in reverse when you booted it
