Don't you just love those " eureka" moments!!!!

Event...................front wheels going over eg. a smallish (in width) speed hump, not travelling fast but not crawling.
Symptom.............suspension in compression, fine, but immediately over the hump...BANG! A significant sound, a knock, ? metal on metal! EEK!
Investigation........jack up front, wheels off, a good light fine tooth comb and all that. ....Nothing! So, I'm greasing a few nipples while I'm down there, lying
on my back staring up with a headlight on and..............EUREKA!!

The pic shows two new bolts in the radiator bracket. The rad was waving in the breeze on that side! Why two different sized bolts I here you say. Because Morgan put two different sized holes in the bracket!

Re-assemble.......test drive........you beauty!!!!

When Morgan build their cars they add little titbits of charm into the design. Odd sizes like that are in the apprentice training manual.
Also, they set the cars up with Malvern air in the tyres. This finely tunes that suspension component provided by the tyres/pressure. Topping up elsewhere can lead to changes...... innocent
The more you work on your Morgan the more of these charm additions you come across!
Welcome to the world of Morgan tinkering! It adds to the ownership enjoyment.

"titbits of charm", brilliant, never heard it called that before.

Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.

+1. I guess they counteract the WTF bits of charm that are features.
