Mine was ordered in October 2011 and delivered in February 2013.

As Planenut says, after much input from TM and a lot of fettling it is now the car it should have been back in 2013.

Long may TM and the indefatigable M3W continue.

Must have been around 2012 I spotted a M3W as prize for a horse charity raffle in the UK (and kudos to Morgan for continuing to support good causes like https://www.bbc.co.uk/bignightin/morgancar ). I didn’t win the M3W but eventually joined TM and bought mine in 2015...

I was blown away when the 3 wheeler first came out. Rushed to my local dealer for a look and a test drive but couldn't justify the price or the practicality at the time and ended up buying a Plus 4 instead. I still wanted one and one Morgan and two Astons later I finally picked one up and am loving every minute.

Like Rog G, my car just completed a couple of days ago, and is awaiting the Stage 1 install there are Morgan. My dealer said that he has one more customer's car whose build was submitted just after mine and his build should be finished within the next week. Then I really think we are darn near to the end of everything. He also mentioned that our cars were part of the last 10 from his understanding, but I've asked him to confirm. Knowing that many of the P101 cars have already been built and shipped, I think we have just about seen the end of the 5 speeders as we know them.

I'm looking forward to receiving mine, although between Morgan ending production, and S&S selling off the motor design, it is with some trepidation that I will still be able to get any necessary parts in the future. But again, if I were being completely practical, I wouldn't be buying a 3 wheeler! smile

Hi everyone. I ordered my M3W just before Xmas and confirmed the spec in mid Feb. Still no word on delivery yet so i'm assuming it's one of the last off the line. There are already customer P101's arriving around the world so it seems odd that the "final hurrah" isn't actually the final hurrah. Hopefully mine comes soon as its been a long 4 months so far. Apparently Morgan are holding back the final build slot for a car for their museum. A little piece of history right there if they have first and last.

I bought my 2012 in 2014 - It was on eBay but through a dealer - The car had every option available at the time but no mods were available at the time and It came up in at over £35,000 new I didn’t click. Some months later it came back up through the same dealer in the same way having to be ‘got rid of’ because ‘the wife told me to!’ So I stepped in & she was a few thousand less than my first eBay visit so I almost clicked instantly.

So how did I come by M3W 0162?

I looked into & missed out on getting a Harley powered JZR in 2006, then talked about getting an Ace brought over but it was simply out of the question when they’d only built 3 of them, but I was hooked. - I revisited the Seattle Ace Liberty Motors Seattle web page a few years later only to see it had moved across to Morgan as a licensed dealer. So now I’m back looking at the Morgan site & the launch of the M3W back in 2011/2012 and ever so happy. Unfortunately at the time, there was no way could I afford the off the shelf price of the M3W but as a used option then it was now in the realms of being affordable and on a second take on 0162 with a lower offer on the already lowered price we were in.

I told my other half Het that there was a delivery coming which she’d have to sign for & went to work, then waited for the call & photos to come in. Stand by Stand by!

It has been the most stress/most fun car I’ve ever owned & it still remains a challenge - I call it the problem child that lives at home, but because of our M3W quirky little sports car we’re in the company of some fantastic people and have traveled and toured visited and shown the car across Europe. End of an era indeed.

The last few are expected to be going through production when factory tours provisionally resume in mid-May Calum.

I ordered mine new in April 2015, it was built in June and I received it down-under in August. Last year I dallied with a Ferrari but soon sold it again. My M3W has no equal and will never be sold, I love it, so does everyone that sees it

Thank you Graham. Not long to go then. I hope there will be plenty of photos of the last few cars being built. I remember watching the last original Minis coming off the line back in 2000 and all the media coverage, BMW did very well with the next incarnation of MINI. Hopefully the last little M3Ws get some coverage in the news, I know the 5 speeder has not been around nowhere near as long as the Mini, but the Morgan 3 Wheeler is such iconic car! Looking forward to seeing what the new one brings.

Two days ago I picked up my 2012 from my dealer after a general overhaul, inspection and replacement of rear tire. I put money down on this thing in May of 2011 after watching a Youtube video of Jay Leno driving their prototype just prior to the Geneva Auto Show of that year where Morgan introduced the 3 wheeler. It took 18 months before mine hit the shores and I was able to pick it up in December of 2012. Most everything has been fixed or replaced. The S&S motor and Mazda transmission are still solid. I tipped over 53,000 miles last year which was a non-year in my estimation. If I logged over 1500 miles it was a miracle during the general lockdown here. Had it not been for this forum I would have torn my hair out and eventually sold the beast to some poor sod who could take over the seemingly endless headaches that came with it! I felt like an unwitting beta tester at times. It is now a solid driving car. I fully expect to return home on my own power during our excursions where before it was a question of what was going to break or fail miserably during the drive and could I fix it with simple tools and/or duct tape. I will keep it and drive it as long as I am able. It is a driver's car and not a collector's piece. It is starting to look it as well. I do take it that I may be able to sell it for as much as I paid due to production ending and general rarity. The amount of money I have thrown at it resembles what one would spend on maintaining a small boat over the years. No regrets, however, as I viewed it as a necessary price to be paid for all the fun I've had in driving it and all the people I've met over the years and the stories (lies) that have been swapped. It is still a serious grin inducing blast to drive!

What's your mileage? Who cares. Is it practical? See #1. What happens when it rains? You get wet.
