The drivers seat of my'92 plus4 has gone south in big way. So much so as the sides hurt my rear. Any suggestions as to renovators in the Wilts, Oxon, Gloucestershire areas or home made remedies.

If Cranfield (Beds) is not too far for you, then Sean at Allon White's is probably the best in the business.

The only issue will be getting a decent slot for him to do it , his reputation ensures that is kept exceptionally busy

I believe PeterJ found a very good local contact in the Salisbury area, maybe worth a PM to him.

I think Henry Williams have a good guy that does their upholstery side of things too.

Not sure what the set up is like, but the base of mine has interwoven pirelli straps. They look 'non standard' but do a good job.

If it's the type with a row of springs each side of the seat-base support .... and the springs are stretched .... I have the ones I took off my seats when I changed them and you're welcome to have them FOC as I'm not going to use them again.

I used strips of rubber to replace the old webbing on my 94 4/4. I suspect any good upholsterer of furniture could fix it.

Thank you all for the advice and the offer by Image. I will take the seat and see what type it is.

My 95 +8 has a section of webbing approx 26.5cm by 49cm, held in by a couple of rods, it's available from Allon Whites, they may call it Pirelli webbing, and from Rutters as Restall webbing

When I owned a Morgan in the mid sixties one felt all alone and had to travel to Ealing (forget the dealers name) to see if they had spares. Now we have the Internet and it's prime use is to share information (Tim Bernard Lee). What a different world. F.H.Douglas - just remembered.
