Very entertaining! A dry line around a circuit always makes for a great race. Hamilton’s overtakes, following his trip to the gravel, were outrageous in their skill and control.

An enjoyable race. Amazing what rain can do! What is happening with Bottas though? Way off pace. The Russell/Bottas coming together and their spat was fun! I think Bottas’ days are numbered and Russell looks a likely replacement especially after his drive last year. Nice to see McClaren back in the mix with Norris having a good drive to get on the podium.

Yes the VB does seem to be doing a bit of a Vettel at the moment which is very sad to watch. What with the Russell/Hamilton thing last year, then only a 1 year contract and now this issue? Contracts time next year will see a total moment of panic/clarity in that office I expect.
Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.

I'm campaigning for a new circuit option for organisers...pop up sprinklers on random corners activated by a spectators phone in vote that'll mix 'em up

I too thought the fastest lap that Vettel did was noteworthy and nobody even mentioned it in the commentary box, fair play to him in a new middle ranking car I thought and I'm not a fan of his.
Great to see McLaren back where they should be and Leclerc was good for Ferrari I thought.
If anybody is wondering why Lewis is paid so much they should pay attention to his climb back up the pack after his uncharacteristic error, he is in a class of his own still.

Brilliant race, no need to put the wine back in the rack. The rain certainly turned things upside down but the most surprising thing is a new GP in Florida next year. Will this make Hamilton say on for another season as he loves all things American. Shame about the VB and Russel spat especially when the re runs showed that it was Russel's fault, I wonder how Toto handled that? The new commentator ( still can't remember his name ) was just as annoying as last time out, I think he needs a volume control. I wonder how Portugal will pan out after all these years? Really looking forward to it, but can Mad Max keep the pressure on?

Or is it red wine for a points finish and Franciacorta for a podium. No need to discuss what you would drink for a win just yet let alone a championship but it is good to see the Scuderia making progress.

Bob, I had just had a case of Pillastro delivered and I thought it would be apt. After all the barren years post Sir Michael I am pleased to see any improvement and 4 & 5 wasn't too bad. As for the first win, it will certainly be a Brunello di Montalcino, when the championship happens I haven't a clue but it will be nice to think about it.

OK, here we go again.
Max looked really dejected after qualifying but I suspect he will be right up there with another demon start.
Have to say though that Mercedes seem to have got their act together which could explain Max's feelings.
Best of the rest? McLaren, Ferrari or maybe even Alpine.
Planning will be tricky today so I can catch some Donington live streaming as well.
First things First. Enjoy some sunshine in Nero.
