Should be a good race. Trying to juggle trip out in Bellagio, 3 x MotoGP races plus F1. Just relieved there’s no F2 or F3. I recognise things could be whole lot worse and am v v lucky by the way…

Good race today, Lewis demonstrating once more his consistency.

Great race , I liked the Verstappen interview at the beginning too, he’s a great driver and he knows it,I love that kind of confidence.

It was a good race with some very interesting battles throughout the field.

However are we starting to witness the return of the steamroller?

Yes, Max made the race interesting by jumping Lewis at the re-start which then elicited a great overtake from Lewis but in general I felt the Mercedes were in control.

Lewis over Max and Valtteri over Sergio.

Spain will give us a good indication as they both know the circuit very well from previous seasons testing and many years of racing whereas Portimao might have thrown up some anomalies.

Nice to see Alonso getting back into the fray and great to see McLaren back in the fight.

Oh, and Ferrari didn't do too bad either.

2 battles to watch now. Mercedes v Red Bull and McLaren v Ferrari v Alpine

Agreed, and with one 2 way and one 3 way battle it is so much better than before with Mercedes battling themselves....
I for one am very pleased we only have a week to wait until Spain.

Well I think I must have been watching a different race because I switched off long before the ( predictable ) finish to watch the final episode of Line of Duty. I think Toto may be sending out cards to RB and others reading " One swallow does not a summer make" This business with track limits drives me mad, why can't the FIA make a firm, non negotiable decision so the teams know where they are. I never thought I would say this after watching F1 for 60+ years but I am bored by it. I don't like the commentator either, far too excitable over not a lot. Where is Eddie or Mark when you need them. Shame Ben left for pastures new.

It definately wasn't the most exciting race but still better than the ending on Line of Duty.

You are absolutely right there Bob, what a waste of time 13 million viewers and it ends in a wimp. Very disappointing!!!
