Hello,
I am from Hong Kong
I just picked up a minty 2013 Morgan Plus 4 4 seater tonight.
Haven’t driven stick shift since I got my driving licence 11 years ago. It’s my first stick shift car.
The car has great sound, great power, fun to ride!
Need more practices before I can give my family a ride.

Welcome to TM .... there's plenty of experience here in all areas you can call on to smooth your way into Morgan ownership.
Your car must be quite a rarity in Hong Kong .... I hope you have loads of happy miles in it.

Thanks. I didn’t know Morgan before. Recently I was looking for manual shift convertible car as my 2nd car. When I noticed the Morgan for sale here I realized the two seater had formed a strong impression of classic car in my mind since my childhood. So I started to look up on the internet and learned Morgan is a luxurious car from Britain. Due to family needs I want a four seater despite the fact that two seater looks better. View the car last week and made the deal on the same day.
Morgan is quite rare here. I arranged the pick up at 10pm near the pier in Central without heavy traffic. It already attracted some people to walk by to take photos. I will be friendly and smiley whenever with the car : )
I am going to order three screen wipers and headlight rims and perhaps a new badge for the car.
One thing I noticed is the brake has a wide range to step on before it really starts to stop the car. I hope it is normal.
Tonight is a sleepless night for picking up this beauty and filling my childhood dream.

Welcome. The brake could need a fluid change or you can adjust at the pedal the movement.

Hello Morganism0504. I have a good friend in Chicago. When he first visited me in Cologne, Germany, he really wanted to drive my Elise. I asked (because he is American) if he could drive a manual car. Yes, of course was the answer. So he drove and is was very interesting. I asked him which manual car he had driven so far. "Sony Playstation, Grand tourismo" was his answer. Well....meanwhile he has an Elise since 8 years himself. When he comes to visit us today, he'll borrow a shift car for a whole day for the Nürburgring. Two years ago, when he last visited us, it was a new Renault Alpine. He has become a fantastic driver. I am convinced that you will also enjoy shifting gears.

Congratulations enjoy your miles, as John said get the brake fluid changed and rear wheel cylinders checked for leakage, it could just be a case of the brakes need bleeding a simple garage job.

I always think that there are some interesting drives on the Island. We have taken the bus from just outside the MTR at Fortress Hill then over to Stanley via Happy Valley. Nice scenic run with some twisty bits to for you to enjoy in the Morgan.
