You mean the Pilansberg park next to Sun City?
When I was there everything was GREEN
The Palace of the lost City with the earthquake-bridge was quite impressive. I was there some 20 years ago. I wonder if they kept it in nice shape or if it got run down like so many things in RSA

Correct . 2018 was very dry. It is basically the same. The view is from the Cafe at Pilanseberg centre. https://www.pilanesbergnationalpark.org/

Mitre Peak, Milford Sound, NZ. Spectacular, flew in and out of there on a light aircraft about 20 odd years ago.

Absolutely right. The views from the little plane that we chartered from Queenstown were breathtaking.
