I agree. But after more than 14.000km it could be normal to count with some oil mist plus sticking dust on the MAF Sensor. Nothing against the use of K&N or other oiled filters. But as I told in the other thread MAF cleaning should become part of a yearly service when using K&N.
My K&N filter was factory new, not over-oiled.
Therefore I am interested in the new generation of piper cross which works completely dry.

This may be an interesting and serious read about air filter types and their pros/cons. At the end I guess I go back to the stock standard paper filter.
