Sounds like the S&S kit is out of stock everywhere.

Or, anyone know of alternatives except the Kuryakin?

The Stinger part in the Stealth Kit is what made it special IMO and if you could get that stinger into Stock MMC filter or a G56 filter then you would really have something. The MMC filter is larger than the Stealth, unless you get the 1" Taller model, and now all those are not going to be available. Good thing they are cleanable!

I do not believe it makes any difference. I did a 10 mile test without any filter at all and did not notice any difference whatsoever? In fact, you do not need more air with the stock ECU, you need more fuel :-)

Interesting, i always wondered why the machine rN better with a smaller air filter surface area and the only thing I could think of was that Stinger, and it definitely runs better than the stock filter. However I must admit that the change of filter was done at the same time as the AR exhaust and I am sure that made a performance difference too. So I suppose it is a which came first the chicken or the egg.

I took off the AR exhaust and am currently running the BaffleEctomy and the biggest difference I have noticed is less noise.

I did get a kit from vital v-twin parts.... so who knows
