It isretty funny, in England you use an antiquated monetary system yet you measure thing in metric. In the States our money is metric and we measure things in an antiquated manner. Very confusing.

In deepest darkest Yorkshire we still use Furlongs and Chains to measure, and wealth is counted by sheep

I can visualise miles, feet and inches.
I have no idea how far a km is or what 456mm looks like without a tape measure.
