That's what they told me , they said it took about 30 mins to fit.
Then again they also told me they have only fitted one before !

£25 for 30 mins in a garage today is dirt cheap. Phone your local VW dealer and ask their labour rate. Thats for a volume vendor. Now phone your nearest Aston Dealer and ask them !

For heavens sake don't tell them, they look after mine.....

If I am not mistaken, as long as you could get underneath the Aero, you could fit it in about 5 minutes - it is held in place with some simple screws, so hardly a labour intensive or time consuming job. As per my comments earlier in this thread, it is purely a cosmetic tidy-up, not something devised in the wind tunnel wink

Funny enough that was their comment , RT are charging £50 an hour and VW £75 !!

Also they said that not all the screw hole are in place at least the one they fitted they had to add some holes.
Hope that means its not a bodge !
This is all I have missing off my Aero (maybe) , I really think it is a nice finishing touch.

I often get patronised at my VW Dealer...........
But one of the receptionist is a rather attractive blonde.....

Everything starts at £40 "investigation".

Like when MrsW's Polo had a slightly sticky gearchange across the gate. When I booked it in, that's how I described it.
When I got there it had become "difficulty selecting gears"
"That's not what I said" I said..........
"Well it will be £40 to dismantle the centre console......
And if that doesn't do it.... if it's a gearbox out job it will be expensive"
"Yeh, right"......was in my thought bubble.
"Ok just leabve it then" I said.

When I got home, a few minutes and a squirt of aerosol chain lube fixed it.
They just don't get customer service.
BUT - it's a good dealer so I go back. Yes I could do it myself, but at my age?
And when my mates diesel BM blew up, the only reason BM paid most of the bill was the FBMWSH..........
