The header tank is fixed on its front corner with two screws to a plate on the heater box. It is also plugged over a metal clamp, but very oblique/skew. See picture 2.
It does not touch the windscreen wiper motor, but flies about 1cm above it.

This fixing on only two sides makes it quite wobbly and shaky. I am afraid, that the header tank bangs against the wiper motor and may loose its hose clamps or even break.

Is it supposed for the header tank to sit directly on the wiper motor? Shall i bridge the gap with a piece of rubber or neoprene?

I`ll get in before Dave W - My header tank rattled against various components. I protected these with strips of 1" x 1/8" self-adhesive neoprene. I used the same to stop the bonnets rattling against the tape "protectors".

It looks odd but mine lasted 45k till the car was sold. The level marks also don't work properly , if you fill to max as it is higher that the rad the level falls. I marked the max stable level with a permanent marker.

I've drilled & tapped a small M4 stainless bolt into the bracket as mine kept jumping up and hitting the bonnet inside
