I and SWMBO don't get the camping/caravan/motorhome thing: we like a bit of comfort and a flus toilet close by. It is an age thing, guys. BUT there are some big RVs that would happily pull a Mog on a rigid tow. That would seem to be the best solution, if you really want to take your house with you. I've seen a double decker bus converted into an amazing RV, with a built in garage for a SMART car.... Brilliant in North America, but on the narrow lanes of southern England I'm not sure.

The target group will be limited. Who has the money and a truck drivers license? Does a butler follow with a second truck. Or does the butler drive the truck and will spend the nights outside in a tent?
Too many questions for me

Of course, this was not meant seriously by me, but rather with the intention of demonstrating the ridiculousness of some increases. This can no longer be explained rationally, that is clear to me. Anyone who can burn so much money can also drive a Porsche and have new wardrobe delivered to his favorite hotels every day. But there are supposed to be people who love to be on the road with a big truck and the Porsche is only supposed to impress the other people at the moment when it is unloaded.
I don’t think I could live with the embarrassment of spoiling everyone else’s journey by creeping about in a motorised bungalow. If you can afford one, you can afford to patronise b&b’s and gastropubs. My tour of the NC500 would have been more enjoyable if there hadn’t been so many motor homes. I knew someone who thought it highly amusing to create a great queue of cars when he towed his caravan. I used to enjoy watching it visibly deteriorate while it was stored on his driveway. It takes all sorts😂
I have just booked a train to get us with the Morgan to Livorno/Italy. From there we will drive without pre-booking and we are sure to find one nice hotel after the other. After military service I have spent only one night in a tent, on a mountain (was great) but every other night in my traveling life was in a hotel and the nights sum up to a four digit number. I do not understand camping. And even less I understand to go camping with an oversized bus (to be forced to stay on a camping place)
