Nice to meet a certain Mr Wellings in his sparkly GDi at my local Motorist Classic car hub today.

The pleasure was all mine Kev. An enjoyable jaunt, after passing the MOT!!

Even though the A1 was rammed, and little more than 30mph going North. Much better going South, we made about 50mph.

Love Mr Rusty - quite appropriate as he had to turn the handle to keep the contraption going.
Time for bed....................

Last year at the MoT, my Plus 4 was very marginal on emissions, and this was in part due to a variable tickover when the cooling fan cuts in.

So I fitted a SiFab aluminium radiator, to help keep the temperature down, and I also added another wrap to the catalytic convertor, comprising a woven heat barrier with a stainless cover.

This has improved things considerably, the emissions are bang on, with just a hint of CO fluctuating when the fan cuts in. So I'm much happier this year.



So anyway, I brokered a deal with Kev to take some stuff off his hands. Various sundry Morgan bits and pieces, in exchange for some old wood and glass, and a couple of favours from MrsW.

I won't bore you with a comprehensive display, but here are just a couple or so.....

An Umbrella. It needed a minor repair but I'm not complaining.



A flag, which goes well on yellow........................



The best one though is this badge, mounted on aluminium, and perfect for my Plus 4 heat shield...............
