I have just purchased a 1997 Plus 4 with a 7000 mile 1994cc Rover engine, the last six number of the serial number being 166T79.I am keen to learn more about the engine, could anyone direct me to a workshop manual please?

A follow up question, after taking the car for a run in the evening, I end up with a puddle of bluish water under the forward part of the engine bay in the morning, I am guessing this is coolant, but there are no apparent leaks and the fluid levels appear ok. Has anyone an answer as to why this is happening?

The Haynes manual for the Rover 820 will cover the engine.

Yes, coolant. First thing to check is that all hose clips are tight (but not overtight).
