At 22 all round I regularly get tyre squeek with rapid direction changes, so I tend to run 23F 24R - but then I'm a fairly substantial chap

Remember the tyres are your only contact with the road surface and at any one time a very small footprint of tyre is actually touching the surface. As said previously the Morgan is very light weight and you want to have optimum tyre footprint contact for safety purposes hence the low pressure ratings, the higher the pressure the less the tyre footprint.

My Plus 8 is on factory alloys with 21/22 psi all round, suits me for driving over here, I don’t venture onto the autoroute!

22 all round for me in my +8 - when I did the NC500 a couple of years ago, ran them at 22 F, 24 R to deal with the weight of the bags on the rack for the trip.

Forgot to add....normal 21psi front and back. Back raised to 23/24 on the back only if carrying a load. Rear shocks soft but up 2/3 clicks for a loaded car. Front shocks on 4/5 clicks. I once drove for a couple of miles with 30psi all round. Tyre place put that in so reminded them on the next tyre change. Boy was the steering light!
