Sticking with the alcohol theme. This is a room in a famous production facility that most on here should not have been in! I have, only because I did the woodwork. Honest 😉 Glenfiddich Distillery by any chance? Living in the Whiskey trail for a few years may have given me an insight, the coat of arms looks vaguely familiar

✔️ it's the ladies toilets at the Glenfiddich distillery. Visit Scotland would only give a four star rating because of the condition of the facilities so the Grant Gordon family who own the distillery created these. I worked for the main contractor on the project and the pictures made it into the national press at the time.

The Glenfiddich distillery is well worth a visit if you're ever touring around the Dufftown area, not my favourite malt, I prefer the Balvenie, made right next door but it's a lovely distillery with a really good tour. And it's free.👍

At Uni I applied for an operations job a Tate & Lyle in Greenock. There was a formal interview , a dinner & after that the site manager put a bottle of bells on the table & said if the 2 candidate could stand after drinking it we were in. The drink was Bells & coke. One whiff of cheap scotch makes me ill to this day 43 years later. I declined the job offer.
Strangely Blackbush is fine as are peaty malts.

I will admit to being a peaty malt fan. But any single malt is good  Bells may be a cheap blend - but with Coca Cola?? Come to that, anything with cola is not good!

To learn about the complicated art of whisky blending I would thoroughly recommend a visit to the Scotch Whisky Experience in Edinburgh, it gave me a completely new perspective on blended scotch. There are a lot of very good blended whiskies and quite a few poor "single malts". I would far rather have a tot of the market-leading blend than the market-leading malt.
